Bayou Patch Designs specializes in artistic fusible applique and stained glass quilt patterns influenced by the beauty of nature. Some of the designs are also available in punch needle patterns. Thread Art(6 hour class):

In this class, students will learn how to embellish applique′ with thread art. Using fusible applique′ as a foundation we will color with thread to enhance the project, creating depth and dimension to the applique′. The first part of the class will be devoted to practicing free-motion techniques on 3 projects and the last part of the class will be devoted to thread coloring a simple piece designed by the student using applique′ shapes provided by the teacher.
